daughter of Michael and Malinda or Eleanor Hawkins O'Hair, was married
September 12, 1810 in Jessamine County, Kentucky to JAMES CAMPBELL.
(At the courthouse of Jessamine County at Nicholasville, Kentucky is an
Index of Marriages, and under the O's has been found:- "Caty Ohair & James
Campbell, Old Box 2" Among the contents of that file was the marriage bond
signed by James Campbell and John Hawkins. John Campbell had signed a paper
giving James Campbell permission to marry. And, also had the father of Caty
Ohair given permission for his daughter to wed, and he had signed with most
excellent penmanship "Mical Ohare." |
