RITES TUESDAY FOR CAROLINE BOATMAN

Mrs. Caroline Boatman, 79 years old, passed away at 11 o'clock Monday morning at the home of her niece, Mrs. Grace Tucker in East Court Street, following a paralytic seizure suffered June 2. She had since been bedfast.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Morrison Chapel at 4:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial at Edgar cemetery.

Caroline Ogden, daughter of Stephen and Emily Guthrie Ogden, was born on the Ogden homestead four miles south of Paris, January 1, 1848, and she spent her entire life in Edgar County. Her husband, Mark Boatman, died eleven years ago. She is the last member of her family, two brothers, William Henry Ogden and James Ogden and sister, Mrs. Alice Mitchell, having preceded her in death.

Mrs. Boatman is survived by three nephews, Robert, Stephen and Ike Mitchell and a niece, Mrs. Tucker.

She was a member of the Christian church and the Woman's Relief Corps.
