MRS. MATILDA TRIMBLE DIES FROM INJURIES
(February 6, 1931)
Mrs. Matilda
Catron Trimble 87 years old, passed away at 11:30 o'clock this morning
at the home of her daughter Mrs. Alphonso Frey on Marshall street, her
death being due to a fall of last Friday when she suffered a fractured
collar bone, bruises, and a scalp wound. A portion of the time since
the accident she had been in an unconscious condition.
Mrs. Trimble
came to Paris two years ago from Pomeroytown Ky., to make her home
with her children. Her husband, David Shelton Trimble, died a number of
years ago.
Ten children
were born to the marriage, eight of whom are living, as follows: Mrs. A.
Frey, Thomas T. Trimble and Mrs. Blanche Bercaw, Paris; Frank and Charles
Trimble, Los Angeles, Calif.;
Robert Trimble, Akron,
Colo., and David and Bruce Trimble of Kentucky. There are also two
stepchildren, Mrs. Rose Hybarger of Paris and Howard Trimble of San Antonio,
Texas.
Mrs. Trimble
was a member of the Methodist Church.
